| Designed and implemented programs to improve the look, content, management, staff and sustainability of seven Bosnian newspaper and magazine clients for a USAID-funded NGO. Helped media owners improve standards in their news organizations and circulation while facing poor economic conditions, an ethnically divided society, dangerous reporting conditions, poorly trained reporters and editors all in a post-conflict, pre-Democratic society. Set up and conducted training programs in media law, investigative reporting, CAR and newsroom management. | International Research and Exchanges Board: designed and executed a program to train Bosnian reporters on how to teach Internet and computer-assisted reporting. CWPNM: Trained journalists in Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia on diversity issues, reporting in conflict areas, post-conflict reporting and investigative reporting.
